Carl Dussault

Carl has been working in portfolio management for over 10 years. In 2008 he joined the Bank of Montreal, a major Canadian bank, where he learned the fundamentals of the business. In 2012 he joined Intact, Canada's largest P&C insurance company, where he held various portfolio management roles. In 2015 he earned his CFA designation. In 2017 Carl founded Evovest with the ambition to provide superior asset management services thanks to artificial intelligence and evolutive learning techniques.

Guillaume Beauregard

Guillaume was part of the Portfolio Analysis Investment Support team at PSP Investments from 2014 to 2017. During these years, he held a key position in the implementation phase of a new portfolio management system. Prior to that, he held various operational roles, namely for CIBC Global Asset Management. Guillaume holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from HEC Montreal and earned his CFA designation in 2016.

Jeremie Desgagne-Bouchard

Head of Science
Jérémie has a wealth of experience in innovative technologies, including machine learning. He joined Evovest following his work as an applied research scientist at Element AI. He spent over 8 years at Intact in various R&D roles, developing solutions in risk assessment, customer segmentation and price optimization. He also gained consulting experience at Willis Towers Watson, delivering pragmatic solutions to clients.

Benoit Robert

Head of Business Development
Benoit has extensive experience in institutional sales and entrepreneurship in the financial markets. He was one of the founding members of Newcrest Capital, which was bought by TD in 2000. Prior to joining Evovest, he was managing director at TD securities, facilitating trading and financing for publicly listed companies. He brings added value thanks to his strong relationships and experience in the field. Benoit oversees our business development initiatives.

Michel Tremblay

Chairman of the Board of Directors
Michel has 40 years of experience in the investment industry and has held various roles within his careers. Graduating from actuarial science from Laval University in 1977, he moved on diverse portfolio management role. In 1990 he accepted a role as managing director at ING investment in Canada. From 2008 he held various positions within National Bank of Canada. Lately, he was the CIO of Industrial Alliance, a life insurer in Canada, overseeing over CAD 60 B in AUM. Michel is guiding our corporate strategy.
